Kia ora Ryan Thank you for your DLO on the Lake Daniel tramp. I can see that I shall have to be careful of rotten trees on that track! I agree with you that walking in the daytime is much safer than walking in the night time. I suppose one solution would be to have a really good head torch with me if I walked the track at night.
