Robotics Learning

Designing a Mars Lander

The Design Process
The design process is built up of different stages the first one is ask you ask all the questions about the design and how it looks so they can tell from the size and how it looks.

The next one is imagine you have to imagine what it looks like and how it fits how it looks and the shape of the design of the mars lander.

The third one is plan you have to plan out the structure of the design so you can work on how it will work and test it out before you use it so you can add improvements to your mars lander.

A Bit About Mars

This is your initial research .The oldest known minerals from mars are 4.4 billion year old zircons from a 2.1 billion year old meteorite. Mars is smaller than earth and has no tectonic plates .The air is very thin composed mostly of carbon dioxide
Mars lander
This is my mars lander I made it on tinker card I tried to make it like a car design but I have not finished yet with the design with the blue shapes I tried to make a light design but this what I have for now for my mars lander design.
Mars Rover Simulation
We are learning to manoeuvre a mars lander on simulation so we can know how to learn how to do when we try to control it so we get used to it.
the mars rover simulator is a real challenge but I soon learnt from my mistakes and I got better soon I was able to move the mars rover bew

Kumara trip
We went to kumara it was a really small we got split into 4 groups of year 9 students we learnt some old history about the town and told who Richard john sadden was and how he

Turtle code

Today we learnt how to make a turtle code so so we could not copy and paste it so we had to copy it and type it into our codding program so when we finished it looked like a turtle instead of a spaceship so this is what it looked like when it was finished
