The Tree Weta
The tree weta hides in holes in hollow wood during the day.
The scarce creature hides in the shadows to protect itself.
The tree weta has know defences against its predators.
The tree weta eats leaves, seeds fruits and flowers and other types of plants.
The tree wetas leg looks like a serrated blade sawing threw dirt.
When the wetas predator chargers the weta lifts its legs to look bigger.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading this bit of work. I like how you explained facts about the weta reading this poem has given me some for experience about the weta.
Maybe next time you could use some Maori in your poem. Good work for explaining the location where you can find weta and where they live.
Also maybe next time you could explain the wetas life cycle. Really good work for explaining what the weta eats and what food web it is in.
